It stopped raining!

For like five minutes, so I took some pictures while the sky was looking quite beautiful. I AM VERY TIRED OF THE RAIN. This is not summer. I know I live in England, but this is ridiculous.

Howdy in action. I love him.

This is where we would have our meals, if it ever stopped raining long enough.

This tractor doesn't go forward. Can you believe it?

And now it has started to rain again...And for added effect there is also thunder and lighting.

That weather sucks, Amber, particularly when you have a new farm to learn and conquer. Howdy is adorable :-) K8

Hi Amber, Ohh how I know rain can be frustrating when you have so much to do outside. We are having just as frustrating an experience, but ours is the lack of rain and extreme heat. All my flowers have withered, along with not being able to keep my vegetable garden alive because of lack of rain and water restrictions. I have given up. A season will pass with my garden being gone. The grass is so dry and brittle I would swear that the heat we are having will ignite it into fire. Anyway, your land is beautiful!! Perhaps you and Martin could get some nice portable gazebo's to put over your eating areas. Heck...I could see areas of your land dolloped with all kinds of portable gazebo's for different functions. They work really well with the rain. They are very popular out here, and in normal given summer times with lots of rain that we usually get, and with the heat, people love them and they are a staple for all who want to enjoy the outdoors rain or shine. Howdy is adorable. Thanks again for the pictures and the updates. Keep the updates coming. Goodluck with all. Maryanne

(Written July 19) Your weather forecast for the next 4 days is dismal. From then to the Olympics it's not much better. Hope things on the farm are a tad better.

Love,
Mom
