Ireland

I just did this post and deleted it on mistake. $#@*. So here goes again but I can't promise it will be as good as the first.

Ireland was amazing. We did and saw so much that I am having a hard time putting it all down so I will just name a few.

Cork was amazing. I think it was my favorite city we went to. There was a really old church there that I could have spent hours at. Yes hours. I love the feeling of an old church and I like to look around and imagine who has been there and how was it made. The city itself was busy and fun but not so much so that you felt overwhelemed. The people were so nice and it was just a great place to walk around and hang out in.

I also liked Derry a alot. This is where the Walshs live and although I wouldn't want to live in Derry I sure did like going there. Derry feels really old to me and has a lot of charm yet there is all this recent history that you can still feel. I think that is what makes me love a city, if I can feel its history. I liked walking along the city walls and looking at all the murals. There are a ton of pubs to keep you entertained and it is small so really manageable. Plus, it has all this beautiful country surrounding it. You could get lost in green if you wanted.

Dublin was amazing and I wish I had more time there. There is so much to see and do. We went to the jail which was a major highlight. Too bad that roll of film got ruined. I have to say their tour beats the one at Alcatraz. There seems to be millions and millions of people in Dublin and I found that to be a little overwhleming. One thing I will say is DO NOT GO TO THE GUINESS FACTORY. Unless you really want to that is. We took the picture outside and then left. Why you ask? Because when you walk in you see two things...a really long line and a store that is throwing up guiness merchandise. It is kind of like a mini amusement park without the rides. Not worth it.
We also watched and bet on the horse race in Dublin. Genie, being the rock star she is bet on the winning horse while Stinky picked the fourth horse.

It was a great trip and I feel like I got to see and do a lot. Next time I will definetly spend more time in one spot but I wouldn't change a thing about our vacation. It was great and I can't wait to one day go back.
