Lentils with Tomatoes and Gorgonzola

Here is the newest from my now favourite cookbook Plenty...the subject of many posts past!

I used a soft goat cheese instead of Gorgonzola as neither of us are a fan. The dill is a fantastic flavour in this dish and the more I have dill the more I want to incorporate it into my cooking! Very easy to make, although I little time consuming as the tomatoes take about an hour and a half to get oven dried. Doesn't look particularly appetising in this picture but it really was yummy. Made a wonderful leftover lunch!

I'm Not Sad!

I'm back! I had long break from my trust worthy blog as I was finding it hard enough to keep up to date with my wedding blog! But now that the wedding is over and things have settled down, I can re-focus my efforts and return to my trusty friend.

The wedding was amazing. I had such a good time. The whole week was so special. Many members of my family were able to come early, as well as some friends from San Francisco. It was so nice to have them all around me. They fit into my life so easily, and it reminded me my family and friends will always be a part of my life, even if we are thousands of miles away. I am amazed how easy it is to pick things up again, like no time at all has passed! This didn't make saying good-bye any easier though. There were a lot of tears, both happy and sad!

Lots of people warned me that I would have the post honeymoon blues. No blues here! We have so much to look forward to that I am not sad at all! Not to mention we had an amazing honeymoon and are constantly flabbergasted by our good fortune. We can't believe how generous everyone has been, and how much faith people have in us and our future. We can't wait to make you proud of us! So, nope, I'm not sad, just really, really excited!
