Despite my best intentions, this blog post is a long time coming! Moving onto the farm has had its highs and lows, and we have been so busy and crazy trying to sort things out, we haven't had time to do much else then keep the farm ticking over and get the cabin in a condition worthy of living in! (it was DISGUSTING when we moved in. It was sad.)
The day we moved it poured down with rain. It has pretty much not stopped raining since. Everything is wet and muddy and a bit smelly. Fortunately there are enough sunny spells to remind us why we decided to do this and make all that water worth it.
There is too much to tell really so here are some pics. (i need to take more!) Hopefully now we have a schedule of sorts and know kind of what we are doing, I will be able to blog more often.

Our chicks just hatched. We have about 30 newborn chicks and watching them hatch was a real treat! We will sell them to the wanting public. |
